Meet the founder

Reading belongs to every kind of child

Book It! In the New E.R.A. grew from one educator's belief that every child deserves an inviting path into books. The founder brings classroom experience across kindergarten through 8th grade and a commitment to neurodiversity-affirming literacy.

Where it began

Built on embracing, respecting, and appreciating books

Every child travels a different reading path, and no path should feel like a race. This program was shaped to honor those differences, offering interactive reading activities, reading-time and book tracking, and grade-spanning resources that welcome varied ways of learning.

Local library connections, reading tips for families and teachers, and a space for young readers to share reviews in their own words all grew from that same idea: reading is an invitation, not a performance.
